5. The statutory minimum is 6 months, IIRC
'Course, statutory minimums haven't meant that much to Ahnold in the past...

7. I think the 6-month minimum applies only if the recall fails
CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE 2 VOTING, INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM, AND RECALL


SEC. 18. A state officer who is not recalled shall be reimbursed by
the State for the officer's recall election expenses legally and
personally incurred. Another recall may not be initiated against the
officer until six months after the election.


So unless I'm mistaken, a new recall could begin just as soon as the signatures are gathered.
