6. Hey, did you find your cat?
Sorry if I missed the post....And sorry if you weren't the one that lost the cat, I am still new on posting...But wasn't it a good looking white and gray striper?

9. No, cat is still missing
We are over being bummed out, I think, and now just hoping that if she is alive she is not being tortured or anything, and if she is dead she went well and quick.

That is all you can do, I guess. That and put up posters.

Yes, she was a very pretty grey and white tigerstripe.

Thanks for asking,.

12. Gee I am sorry.....
I think she was taken in by a billionaire widow who is feeding her deli meats right now. Cats are very resourceful.
BTW your picture is ummm, great...Is is a purebred? I looks like it has a nice personality.

15. I am so very sorry. I was wondering, as well.
Don't give up and keep on looking and calling. Cats can be very resourceful. My poor kitty was abandoned by a neighbor who moved. It was a long time before I became aware of her and I am pretty sure that she survived an entire winter on her own. I am so grateful that I spotted her and was able to bring her in because she is an older cat and had ear and dental problems that must have caused her great discomfort. My now nearly-toothless kitty is an indoor cat, spending her afternoons lying in the sun in my bay window. There's always hope. She never gave up and neither should you. Let us know.:-)

17. Finicky
My mother was living with us last winter with her two cats. One was a very timid one-eyed little black thing and the other was a big old fluffy orange cat. That fat cat was so much fun to play with: we dressed him up, my kids played hostage situation with him, we were always at him doing doing different head games with him...find the tuna, find the catnip toy, etc, we were always on him....But he loved it because he wouldn't leave us alone for a minute. When my son, who was the instigator of the games came home, this cat would litteraly (pun) run to him and jump in his arms.. Well Mom moved backed home and one week later the cat moved out..HE IS NOW LIVING ACROSS THE STREET as AN INDOOR CAT.(at the gay house) .. Of course she(wicked republican) is blaming us for his leaving. My point is they are just plain finicky.

20. This was a cat that I couldn't touch since I brought her inside
I'm sure I have mentioned this to you before. I had to use a have-a-heart trap to finally catch her and I was getting worried because the weather was getting worse. I brought her to the animal hospital that I borrowed the trap from, trap and all. They removed a growth from inside her ear and supposedly treated it. It never dawned on me when I paid to board her there that they would not examine the entire cat! All animal hospitals are not equal! I have since brought her Rhiannon's vet who I know and trust. The growth came back and he removed it and treated it with long-acting medicine. He also said her teeth were very bad and removed the decayed ones.:-(

She is now a totally different cat! She has approached my outstretched hand and actually has gotten up into the chair with me more than once! She must have been really hurting! How I wish I had brought her to him in the beginning! Anyway, she may never be a lap-cat like Rhiannon, but at least she is beginning to be my cat!:-)

I don't understand about your mother's cat! Can't you get him back? I mean he's her cat and he adores your son!

But, yes, cats are finicky, except for Rhiannon, who believed that she was human.;(

28. No
My mother doesn't want him anymore. She lives three hours away from us now. I don't think she liked the cat to begin with and he may have picked up on this and that is why he moved across the street when we brought my mother back home last April. Don't worry about our lack of cats though, we are now down to four. We had six last winter when my mother was living with us. You know I was thinking about your little skittish one the other day. I bet dollars to doughnuts it was the pain. I am so glad she is on the mend! :)

33. I'm still sorry that you lost him. He sounds like a wonderful cat!
Thanks for thinking of my little skittish girl. She continues to improve; she jumped up on the arm of my chair when I patted it just a few minutes ago! She is still not ready to be petted, but is very close! I just wish that I had brought her back to the vet a long time ago, but I needed help to catch her. I think she is feeling more like she did when she was someone's housecat, before she was abandoned, and is therefore behaving more like she used to. I am just grateful!:D

35. Yah, he was a riot...
But I know he is being well taken care of. He would sit at the kitchen table next to me while I worked on my computer, looking like a kindergarten kid at the high school lunch table. He was just a real cut up...We dressed him up as Betsy Ross one night and he just was a hoot. He didn't try to get out of the get-up, he just kept posing and making sure everyone saw him.
As an aside, a long time ago I had a very stand offish cat, We got a hamster and made a big deal when this cat was around to look at the hamster and kind of bond. I would call this cat and tell her it was time to feed or water the hamster and she would just snuggle up to me and be so fascinated with what was going on. I know this might sound kind of stupid to some people, but it was almost like this cat needed to have someone else to care for...Female cats are very maternal and I don't think they feel comfortable being on the needy end...Just my thoughts...
p.s. You are a friend to animals indeed Rhiannon.
