This is shitty news. Everybody knows I'm not a Miami fan, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Gore has the worst luck I've seen in a long time. Poor kid. I just feel terrible for him.

1. Poor guy.
He's had some rotten luck. I saw a note on Jarret Payton's rotten fortunes as well. Good thing he's getting a chance to play now.

2. Yeah, I saw that last night.
Clayton has had terrible luck in the last few years, too.

4. Not good at all
This kid was out last year because of the same knee, if I'm not mistaken.

Granted, it allowed Willis McGahee to become the featured back for Miami in 2002....maybe they can feed Gore some of the food they fed McGahee. I NEVER thought that he'd return, but he's in the NFL now.

Make another comeback, kid. You can do it!

6. Yep.
Teams will dare Berlin to throw. I don't know if the Payton kid has what it takes against some of the teams Miami plays later this year, and time will tell if Berlin's up to the task.

Miami's schedule isn't easy from here on out, for the most part. Miami's BCS Strength of Schedule is 49th right now, but projected to be 9th by the end of the year. That means they have some tough games coming up.

My SOS info came from http://www.collegebcs.com/subs/ ,which is a pay site. Their info is usually right on, at least as far as the BCS is concerned.

7. Different knee?
Well....that's good, I suppose. It's A LOT tougher to come back from a twice-injured knee.

Chin up, big guy. The Canes are FAR from a one-man powerhouse.
