What is the best diet drug? |
|
There are SOOOO many on the market my eyes spin. Does anyone have any personal experience with them? There is no more ephedrine so that is why I am looking into them. Plus I want to eat cake and I don't want to exercise. :donut:

1. If you don't want to exercise... |
|
you might as well give up. Not really healthy to rely on something that's basically a legal form of speed to help you lose weight. Adjusting your calorie intake, eating smaller portions, and exercising are really the only way to go. Sorry.

for the most part, 'speed'. I use a lot of coffee myself! Not good though...just found out that caffeine robs the bones of calcium. I found this out after 25 years of living on coffee and coca-cola. I gave up most of the coca cola, but still drink a pot of coffee a day, in lieu of breakfast. Me Bad.

5. Agree - Diet pills are a way for corporations to make money off |

of the desparate. I should know, I've donated enough to them in my lifetime.
My recommendation is going to a reputable vitaman place, like Vitamin Shoppe and ask for some recommended vitamin/mineral suppliments to take along with weight loss plan.

i have battled with the bulge for so many years. This past year i started walking 30 minutes a day (5 days a week) and i have been able to maintain my weight and i feel so much better. Its amazing what 30 minutes a day can do. I have loads more energy than i did before and i sleep sooo much better too. It does something to the brain because i make much better food choices that i used to. I have 2 kids and the 30 minutes doesn't take much time away from them at all.

If you can cut your daily fat/carb intake by at least 10% and you exercise, you will lose weight.

probably works as well as any of them....you need to be the calm type, though as they can make you jittery. Needs a script.

11. The ephedra replacement, so to speak |
|
Is a myriad of promises combined with smoke and mirrors, whose key ingredients are backed by decent research. They're effective ONLY with a combination of calorie cutting and exercise.
Most are based on Garcinia Cambogia (sp?) which is a citrus extract. If you seek this product, the key is it's standardization for hydroxycitrate acid. This, combined with caffeine (usually from guarana) and other "stuff" can work in decent amounts.
However, again, without exercise, it doesn't matter how much you take, especially without cutting back on cake and whatnot. Ephedra (ephedrine) would have a tough time helping in that scenario as well.
