We've been seeing the birthdays all day long. But what were those parents of yours up to 40 weeks BEFORE you were born? Was it an anniversary, holiday, someone's birthday, pehaps? Hmmmmm?

was March 10, I was born December 9 and my youngest brother was born on December 10. My grandmother always offered my mother her spare bedroom on his birthday.

I once looked up the #1 song 9 months before I was born and it was Do You Think I'm Sexy by Rod Stewart. I would like to think my parents had better taste than to listen to it and that it had nothing to do with me being here.

My parents, working on an aid project in this impoverished subtropical Indian state were newlyweds, having been married for four months. So that's the when, where, and why. Not much to do in the evenings.
