I have a thread title question |
|
Can someone explain the deal with there always being multiple threads with some pun of the original thread title (e.g. "I love cold pizza!" then "I love old pizza!" then "I shove old Lisa!", etc.)? Is there a joke I'm not getting? Once in awhile they're pretty clever and funny, but ALL THE TIME? Is it just a tradition around the lounge that someone who's only been around since last summer can't understand?
Just curious.

1. Well, I have a bread title question... |
|
Seriously, though, I get the impression that it's tradition, and people are just trying to have some fun, relieve some boredom.
And on that note, now I have head tidal question...
;-)

2. They are copycat threads |
|
You are right, some are funny and some aren't. Some people like them and some people don't.

3. Fair enough, I guess it can be fun |
|
but sometimes they're a little confusing when they stay on the page longer than the original thread.

..when you respond to a copycat thread in all seriousness and you didn't see the original thread.

5. I suspect that happens a lot |
|
I usually want to respond with "Huh?" and then I see the original post.
