Poll question: Who thinks that Kleeb can avoid the eventual draft?
Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 10:22 PM by mdmc
I think that he will join the army.

I think that he will beat the draft.

I think that he will get drafted.

I always thought that he was Canadian.

And Kleeb is uneligible?

Well, if there is a draft, and they go for our Mr. Kleeb, I hope he files conscientious objector on his registration day, and then takes advantage of it. And if he needs a hideout, I'm sure he can find many on DU - including me - to go hide out with.

The conservative fucks want this war, let them send their own (*@&$&%$# children.

5. Of course, with Kleeb doing an internship in DC at a congressman's office,
gonna be kinda tough to hide from the Feds, methinks.

3. Kleeb can seek asylum here
because our house is an asylum, but he must not come on to my daughters or give the dogs people food.

6. That reminds me of something that I heard
That if being drafted is imminent and you have demonstratable skills or aptitude, you are better off enlisting in the armed servies before you are called for the draft. You are less likely to be cannon fodder this way and being doing something skilled, which doesn't usually involve killing and is out of harms way.

11. Of course there is the Seymour Skinner way to avoid military commitment:
Make a pass at your (same-sex) commanding officer
