Guys, have you ever had older women express interest in you?
The thing is I have had a few do so. Some of them have been 20 years older than me. I just thought it was weird.

1. I've had much older men ... 30+ years interested in me...
why is it interesting to have an older woman interested in a man?

(Oh, and I've had plenty of 20+ year older women interested in me too, over the years... not weird at all.)

2. Lighten up. Attraction isn't weird. People do it all the time.
You don't have to get involved, and can still be slightly flattered...

3. Yes indeedy
But not recently.

When I was in my late 20s, the 30-40 set liked me a whole lot. But these days, it seems to be single girls in their mid-20s with children and mental problems.

It's all like the tides. In, then out, then in, then out ...

4. Not for twenty years.
For a woman to be older than me now, well, she'd have to be OLD.

7. All the time
When i was in college most of my friends were women in their late thirties/ early forties, usally married with kids my age.
It was actually kind of intriguing wondering why they spent so much time talking to me.

8. Why is it weird?
Older men have expressed interest in younger women forever - why is it so unusual that older women might be interested in a young man?

Your reaction might be a good thing to remember for when you're 87 and trying to feel up the 22 year old waitress who just brought you your porridge....

At a retail store in and shortly after college. Middle aged women hit on him all the time. A few even asked if he could come over and help her for non traditiuonal payment.

17. Now you know what us women go through
Last week a co-worker of my mom told her he was old fashioned and asked for her permission to ask me out. It only feels weird to me in situations like that when someone is close to one of my parents.

19. I've expressed interest in Jamie Bell, and he's 10 years younger than me.
:silly:

They may find you mature without being stodgy.
They probably feel younger than their age.

Plus, young people are constantly drilled into our heads as being most attractive.

As it stands, the only people who express interest me in me are teenage girls (thanks, but call me when you're 18), gay men (I'm flattered, and it's nice to know I have options, but I'm straight) and older women (35+). I guess being a self-deprecating neurotic doesn't play well with women my own age.

25. when women are in their 20's, a lot of them chase good looking bad boys
and totally ignore the nice guys. a lot of us rethink this and start appreciating men as people once we've had our fill of eye candy.
so, i'm guessing that you just come off as a good guy, which makes your audience mostly 30+!
I get guys 10-12 younger hitting on me all the time... i think it's because there are more of them who are single. sometimes it's flattering, weird? no. even when my friends 15 years younger son hit on me, LOL, i guy hitting on a gal at a party ain't ever going to seem weird to me.....

...now I'm with a guy 4 years younger.

I guess 26-37-ish has always been my ideal age for a guy and always will be even when I'm 80.

35. Older women rock
Mrs. Squeech is 6 years older than I am.

By now it's a cultural thing more than anything else. People who didn't go through the '60s, at least conceptually if not in person, generally don't strike me as interesting.
