10. Yes, and I live in Michigan. |

Grew up 20 miles northwest of Detroit, and live 8 miles north now. And love Alan Alda.

we used to vacation on Lake Michigan -- Warren dunes area. One year we took a long tour of the Great Lakes area (parents were school teachers). Not many people outside the Midwest realize what a beautiful area that is.

gave a gritty picture of playing hurt. Nolte was believable as a football player down on his luck.

I hated that movie. Uber-uber-uber cheesey.
Gawd!
A ton of people think it's great and the gratutious racial issues were profound.
Pfffft!

I also liked Knute Rockne, All American, Varsity Blues, and Any Given Sunday. Titans was OK, but way too Disneyfied, and I didn't like Jerry Maguire much at all.
