Poll question: Which Political figures end would be most befitting of Bush*? |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 02:49 PM by LostInAnomie
Reagen - To leave a legacy of greed and destruction where half of the country thinks he is a saint, and the other half thinks he is the anti-Christ. Growing old and feeble, until you drift any.
Nixon - To become the poster child for abusing executive power. Resigning in disgrace before impeachment. After resigning he would be little heard from again until he dies with hardly a notice.
Hitler - To use his powerful war machine, and propaganda ministry for the purposes of imperialism only to watch it crumble before his eyes. Cowering in a bunker with the knowledge that the world, and the very country that he deceived want him dead, he'll pop a cyanide capsule with Pickles by his side.
Mussolini - Remembered as the foolish dupe who assisted true evil in almost conquering the world. When it all breaks down and the veil of lies is removed from the eyes of the masses they will revolt and destroy anything the reminds them of him, including the man himself.

2. I voted Mussolini, but then regreted it |
|
Nixon was disgraced, but somehow managed to recover some part of his reputation and undeservedly so.
Reagan's fate is too good for him as well.
I hope to God that he never becomes deserving of Hitler's end.
I think the person he most represents is Mussolini, but you know I hate wishing ill on people.

I don't think anyone is going to invite Georgie to an orgy though.

8. Yeah right, like he would go to that. |

The churchie stuff is just for the public. Now a Cocaine and Whiskey party would be something completely different.

5. As much as the Mussolini option appeals... |
|
...he deserves Nixon's fate, only with greater condemnation and less forgiveness over the years. He should be disgraced and shunned and his underlings jailed.
Anything less will not redeem this country, and we are in desperate need of redemption at this point, unfortunately.
