2. It's not my homepage because I like to appear independent.
Sure, I can get online without going to DU.

Yes I can.

I can, I tell you!

i'm on a network, so i'm always online and usually when i wake up, DU is the very first thing i look at, unless i'm expecting an e-mail.

12. that's what i have on my parent's computer
it drives me crazy waiting for it to connect. What's worse, is it doesn't make the usual connection sounds, so i never know if it's going to be successful until it tells me.

13. My homepage is Yahoo
with weather, the top news story/photo and TV listings. It stays up for a quick glance and then it's right to the DU 'latest posts' page.

16. I usually check my RSS feeds before going directly to the web
... not actual web pages. The first feed I read would be Slashdot.org , then Ars Technica, then BBC. Once I've gone through my RSS feeds, I launch my browser which has news.google.com as its home page.

19. No.
Yahoo! was my first homepage back in like the...gawd, 90s was it? When I first got the internet ages ago. It's just kind of stuck. Having any other site besides Yahoo! as my homepage just feels weird.

It goes: Yahoo! > Gmail > MacRumors.com > Weather > DU :)

20. None of those options
The only sites I frequently search are message forums. Using Firefox, I am able to open every forum I like at the same time with one window open.. so thats what I do.

Lounge bookmarked in a group of tabs which open everytime I fire up Firefox. Does that count?
