I'll be 33. So if being 39 makes you middle aged, I'm not too awful far behind you! :)

does that put me in the "senior" category?

7. How old were your grandparents? |
|
My grandparents and great grandparents died between 87-94, so 45 should be the beginning of middle age for me.

|
I'm 49, got 10 yrs on ya and I just now consider myself middle age..which means I'll live to be umm...98.
Actually I think 50 is considered middle age now..since they have discovered quarter life crisis now exists at 25.

12. That's what scares me. |
|
Here's my immediate family and the ages when they died:
Grandmother: 64 Grandfather: 73 Mother: 61 Father: 62 Uncle Frank: 59 Uncle Louie: 58 Uncle Bob: 62
I'm not exactly optimistic about living to a ripe old age! :(

If Uncle Louie planned on living til he was 600, he died in infancy, I'm sad to say.
So...How long do you plan on living?

22. didnt realize it was you nighttrain. |
|
i dont know you at all. getting to know you tonight. your friend with breat cancer, your mother, and now your own death.
look i smoke, i feel pain in chest...........i just dont feel i am going to live old. all women on moms side die in 50's 60's. but man am i living life now. happy, i am in joy. i love my family and friends and strangers on streets.
dont waste your time. could be tomorrow, could be 40 years. dont waste it on fear, it is illusion, not real. a past or a made up future. we create our world. it is ours to do. you life is all up to you adn what you make of it.
power of now. a good book. get rid of the past. let go of the guilt. live in the now. and each one that comes
or not, wink. yours to do
but how silly at a fun 39 to worry for the next how many years of what may or may not come

is, what does middle-aged mean to you? Numbers are just numbers but the real interesting stuff is the emotions that get wrapped up in stuff like this.

especially if you keep in shape. I'm substantially older than you & I don't think I'm there yet., Of course I don't want to be middle-aged, so I just am NOT.
I still have so many things I want to learn and do.

If this year doesn't trigger a midlife crisis, nothing will... turning 40, oldest kid turns ***18****/goes off to college, "youngest" starts high school...so am I allowed one crisis per event or do I just get one BIG meltdown?

But with more people living into their 80s and 90s, that may no longer be the case.
BTW, I'm 52, so I guess that I AM middle-aged.
