take a moment to pay tribute to the KING of R&B
getting my dose of "What's goin on" now!

Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today
Father, father
We don't need to escalate
War is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know you've got to find a way
To bring some understanding yeah today
Aw, picket lines, picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me so you can see
Oh what's going on,
Tell me what's going on
Mother, mother
Ev'ry body thinks we're wrong
Baby who are they to judge us
'Cause our hair is long
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some understanding here today
Good God

was referring to when Whitney said her husband was the king of R&B a few Grammy's back. What an idiot.

On a serious note, I was always partial to Inner City Blues (Make me wanna holler)

5. Motown's greatest ... best Vietnam veteran tribute ever!
I don't know of any better song that captures the attitude of a vet 'coming home.' No way. No how. That song hit a year after I came back. Awesome. Marvin had to blackmail Barry Gordy to get it released as a single. It was a win-win.

The album is one of the best ever.
1 What's Going On
2 What's Happening Brother
3 Flyin' High (In The Friendly Sky)
4 Save The Children
5 God Is Love
6 Mercy Mercy Me
7 Right On
8 Wholy Holy
9 Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)

Yeow!
