1. I've only seen a few episodes of Pimp my Ride. |

I'm not even a car person and it was entertaining. In one show they turned the back of a big rusted out explorer into a kind of sitting room...it had couches and tvs everywhere, even a sink...kind of a waste...but awesome just the same.

3. It helps me appreciate my car that much more |

If I had the extra money, I'd remove the dings and put in a more slamming sound system. But on the other hand, my car:
a) does not run the windshield wipers when I sound the horn b) does not have a window accidently kicked out by a friend (who I didn't allow to make restitution for because the rest of the car was so worthless) c) does not have a roof that leaks rain (requiring me to drive wearing a waterproof hat) or d) leaks insulation (requiring me to drive wearing goggles) e) does not have an ill-fitting body kit f) CAN'T be started unless I insert a key AND turn it g) is not the result of two welded body frames, rendering it to be too dangerous to be pimped
all of which I've seen on Pimp My Ride--as opposed to Married With Children or Columbo! My favorite episode was with the art student whose friends were from wealthier familes and drove nicer cars (but were still his friends) and whose girlfriend didn't mind being seen riding with him!
