There are tough days ahead for her (and therefore, you too) though. Give me a hollar (PM) if ya need to talk/vent.
My sister had her last radiation about three weeks ago, hair coming back in from the fun with chemo and fingernails/toenails should start to grow back in soon. I didn't realize some people lose nails from the radiation. She was a bit surpirsed when they started to lift!
Make sure she doesn't hide any symptom/annoying condition from her health care team. Sometimes, odd things happen and she needs to be sure and mention them/ask questions. There is a lot they can do to ease uncomfortable side effects. My sis was pretty stoic and she got yelled at for not mentioning things which could be helped! I think most medical teams want to do as much as possible cuz there is so much they can't make OK right away.
Hope she continues to do well and keep her fighting spirit up! Am here if you need...
