The one in the picture is an Adelie--and they are just the happiest and goofiest little guys! I love the Adelies!

5. Wayne Newton has a pet penguin.
I saw it waddle out to greet visitors to his home on "The Entertainer" tv show. It was cute. It must have been a warm weather penguin to live in Las Vegas.
