Mostly around my forehead at this point, but I can see it slowly receding.
But it does give me an interesting Shakespearian brow.

3. I'm a woman, but we have a close male friend with long hair |
|
He sayd that he has faced discrimination because of that, especially when looking for a job. For example, there have beeen times that he has had an enthusisastic phone interview where they make it sound like they really want to hire him. Then he goes to the in person interview and they look at him weird and treat him completely differently. I have seen pictures of him, when he had shorter hair a few years ago. He looks much better with long hair. Why do some people think less of guy's with long hair. Are men supposed to be conformists?

and I've had the same job for fifteen years (since about the last time I had a hair cut) Since I was eighteen I've had long hair, only trimmed it slightly once for my sisters wedding. So many people have urged me to cut it, but I like it, so from now I'm sticking with it.

at least as long as you can.
i always had long hair, but finally, one day i looked in the mirror and said OMG! is THAT what i look like?
i used to have really thick, coarse hair. at it's longest it was down to my waist.
as you get older, not only does it start changing colors, but it also thins, and the hair shaft gets finer.
put all that together and it doesn't look anything like it used to.
so, i chopped it all off with clippers. it's about 1/4 inch all over. i felt if i couldn't do it right, i wouldn't do it at all.
it IS a lot easier to deal with, obviously, but i miss my mane. :-(
edit to add, i am an administrator at a major nyc medical school. there is a graduate student here who is at least six feet tall and has a pony tail down to his knees. THAT IS SO COOL!!!
PLUS it is very healthy, beautiful hair. i am so envious.

It has been long since I was 10, I am 24 now. It is currently about 3 inches past my shoulders. At the longest it was at the middle of my back.
My wife loves it. I just take my hair out of my ponytail and give that come-hither look and we...well......you know the rest :)

42. I'm all about long hair on men as long as it is healthy... |
|
I can't STAND it when men have long hair, but don't get it trimmed to be healthy and such. The 17 different lengths thing just doesn't do it for me (but hey, to each their own) Although I prefer the clean cut look there have been a few men with beautiful long hair that I have definately batted an eyelash over.

45. Mine's on its way again |
|
Over the last five years I've grown my hair past my shoulders and then chopped it short again for various reasons. I'm now growing mine long again, but since I'm growing it out from a shaved head I got last June it's still not exactly long, as the top needs to catch up quite a bit to the rest of it so it won't look so "mullet"-ish!
