I like to "poison" people's minds with liberal ideas, so that, for example, when they think about 9/11 they think "LIHOP" and when they think about Bush, they think "what a lying idiot he is". They may start out thinking "that fool hfojvt thinks Bush is a lying idiot" but if they keep looking and thinking about it, they will see that I am right.

I was talking to my wife today about the fundie/Repuke masses in the U.S. and how it's a grotesque phenomenon that only exists in the good ol' U.S.A. Of all places for this to happen. NO ONE in any foreign country can fathom or accept or identify with this peculiarly American social abberation. It's an abomination in the eyes of any and all civilized peoples around the globe. They have every right to view America as utterly friggin' insane.

BTW, I ventured into Free Republic just once - and immediately got banned within about a minute of my only post there.

I consider myself somewhat of a cultural anthropologist who investigates the strange phenomenon of 'freeperism'. I lurk at Free Republic all the time and post much of their more inane comments here for those who wish to stay in the realm of sanity. Not everyone can read hundreds of posts in a right wing circle jerk and maintain their sanity.

I do it for laughs and a morbid curiosity. The far right of the Republican party is a treasure trove of the insane, stupid, cruel, brainwashed and sociopathic. I am fascinated by their nonsense and their ability to block out reality

11. I can no longer post on Free Republic

One day I got in an argument with another poster and was banned from posting because my remarks were considered liberal (I was complaining about Bushonomics and how dangerous the defecit was. I even tried to sound conservative---but for some reason they banned me. I thought conservatives were against vast budget defecits. I think a remark I made that I would rather have higher taxes than trillions of dollars of debts is what got me banned.)

Those people who run that site are insane. I know some republicans (even among friends and family), but no one I know expresses inane views like the ones that virtually everyone there has

9. trolling or lurking?

Years ago I did get banned after only three posts on a right wing site. I didnt "troll". I was pretty up front about who I was, what I thought and believed in. Rather than deal with the truth of what I posted, rather than discuss in a calm, rational manner and try to have a dialogue about what I posted, the regular posters insulted me, called me names, and before I knew it, I was banned.

I tried to get back on, but I assume that they had my IP blocked. So I gave up.

Now I just lurk.

I don't troll - I try and ask questions. I'd like to find out more about how they think and who they are. And what their plans are. Not much in the way of response. But you do see the 'tax plan' or the 'newest idea' - which is a good way to get at their assumptions (and they really are all about assumptions these neocons). Though I did ask why the administration in one site started a thread called "who are our enemies?” I pointed out that it was a real let-down for it to come from the admin. And then when I saw what was happening to Harry Reid - I up and put the link up in their site myself and said "Here you go!". No response.

I am not a troll. I am completely honest about my questions. I just wish they would answer some of them.

But have yet to go to a real freeper site. I think that would just be too awful for my little heart to bear. I have had enough frightening moments in my life already. So I try and stay away from the completely DERANGED as much as possible.
