My husband is Pakistani (of Indian origin; his parents and older brothers were born in Delhi before the partition), and he loves it. He said he used to watch it while growing up, and the family would all laugh hysterically.

6. got to go with Dr. Strangelove. |

It is a one of a kind serious comedy. Anyone who liked it should get the anniversary edition, it is great with the bonus material and stuff. I don't know know of a modern movie were one actor played 3 characters, and planned to play a fourth. It is a masterpiece and should be seen by every American.

It hasn't aged well, but I still like it. He played three rolls in it.

The Chauncey Gardner character was one of his best. Sort of the original Forrest Gump.
