Then, you're mad, and anything stuck that needs extra elbow grease gets it for sure. One of my kids had dropped a glob of jelly on the floor. They cleaned up the glob, but left a little sticky circle to collect cat hair. EWWWW!

While surfing DU tonight, I've vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen, taken out the trash, made the bed, done the dishes and put them away.

Usually that's my Sunday gig, but we're doing my daughter's birthday party tomorrow at the in-laws, so I won't be home....so, the washer is going now.

I use Pine-Sol (which drives my asthma crazy). I haven't found a floor cleaner yet that doesn't though.

You could have had tremendous fun. Oh, you have to speed mop, because the cats are closed up in a bedroom to keep them off of the wet floor.

I use the vinegar ones for my wood floors and like them...however, from the state of the floors right now you would never know that I have ever mopped them before, ever.

Sad, but in this economy, I have to plan to buy one. I have planned in the past, but the money always goes somewhere else.

21. Sad, but I know what you're talking about |
|
I hadn't worried about money in a long time until I quit my job several months ago. Now it's a big deal to buy stuff.
I have had the plain swiffer/pledge thing with the electrostatic cloths, and I really like them for cleaning/dusting floors: wood, tile, and linoleum. (I think I have the Pledge brand, not Swiffer.)
Then I got some wet vinegar cloths, and I just use them on the regular stick thing. They sell different contraptions for the wet cloths, but I never thought that was necessary.

|
I had been feeling completely unfulfilled by my career and knew I needed to figure out what I could be happy doing, knowing that I definitely wasn't happy where I was. So I decided to make a bold move and quit. To use a cliche from business, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. I'm going to apply to law school. :)

It makes mopping much easier. It keeps the dirty water out of the grout so you have a chance of keeping your floor looking clean and new

I paid $170 but it is worth it, The swiffer just moves the dog hair around. It doesn't pick up anything larger than 1/8 inch in diameter.

|
You are better off with a regular mop and water. I have tried them all and the only thing that works better than a mop and water is the Floormate.

|
have my floors tiled but have decided to get it sooner, since we have ripped up a lot of our carpet and basically have bare slab. I can clean it with the Floormate too...or the Bissell equivalent, and now Dirt Devil has come out with one too.
anyone used the other products????
