daytona 500 - what time is it? How soon after will people be clear

I am suppose to be in Daytona sunday night for some training starting on monday - had no idea this big race was going on the same weekend
no sense in getting there too early

1. The race starts at 2pm Eastern

I would guess the time to be 3 hours. I've seen race traffic take another 2 hours just to clear out, but thats at Bristol and Martinsville, not Daytona.

2. the traffic should clear out by sunday night

with the people who brought trailers clearing out monday or tuesday to head immediately to the next race.
