trivia question: US states and internal rebellion |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 02:27 PM by pres2032
Which two US states are the only ones to have a rebellion among itself and actually form two rival governments?
i have class now, but i'll be back at 4 to check answers. keep this kicked!!
here's some hints, both were before the civil war and one is currently a blue state.

Not sure if the division of VA involved rival governments, but there was once a democratic rebellion in Rhode Island which declared the state government illegal/obsolete.
