1. The question is, will they get the chance to? |
|
Or will Bush* and his new sidekick use BBV to (effectively) shut elections down?

2. our long statewide nightmare's over; cali's just begun... |
|
voter turnout was very high when what-s his name won the governorship....over Normie Coleman and Hubert Humphrey III....a lot of people voted for him as a lark...his opponents played it by the book hoping he would draw more votes from the other guy....i do not have the numbers in front of me but this is true: Not only did voters lose interest in Ventura (wonder if the sumbitch will ever start using his real name again? he never did legally change it...) but Ventura lost interest in being governor before his term was over.
all in all one of the most embarrassing chapters in my state's political history....California, you should have learned from us: muscle-plated action figures who speak in catch phrases that sound like hollywood rejects don't make good public officials.
Prediction: Schwarzenegger will be widely hated before long and he will be baffled by the real work of government....
