it kept me guessing and I turned out to be wrong with what i thought was going on, which is a good thing for a movie to do.

4. It was interesting. My wife and I both enjoyed it.

I just saw about 40% of "The Gift" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0219699/

Rented. Very interesting. Cracked disk. Nothing past 40%, even using some of the extremely persistent programs on my computers. Very annoying. :)

5. the Esquire
reviewer said that Natalie's refusal to go nude during the one strip scene detracted from the film. Not just because we would all be cheered up by the sight of Natalie naked, but he thought the scene's rawness and emotion called for the character to be naked. What'd you think? I haven't seen the film. Looks a little dark for me.

6. huh? Natalie?
do you mean Julianne Moore's character? there is a scene where she's in her underwear, but it's dark and the state of her undress has no effect on the plot.

7. Are you talking about Closer?
And if so, they actually shot the nudity, and edited it out because neither she nor the director were comfortable with it.

8. Good flick
I was just recommending it to a friend last night.

We saw the theater trailer last summer, and when I rented it last week, I was pleasantly surprised that the trailer actually left me in the dark. It was a good movie.
