The current lack of Avatars

How do you feel about not having an avatar at this point? Do you feel naked, or somehow lacking in your DU piece of flair? Is it different reading the posts of some asshole with whom you normally are engaged in combat because you don't see that Avatar with which you associate his or her assholery? Or is the situation reversed, with you being unable to spot the picture that quickly lets you know that a friend is there? Is it harder to follow candidate bashing threads without the participants clearly labelled? Please, feel free to chime in you opinion on the current lack of avatars!

I got very confused when I read the post about the great sig line and it was no longer there! Yes, I do miss them. I often identify people with their avatars, including myself! When I look in the mirror, sometimes, I am shocked not to see Jimmy Carter looking back at me! LOL!:wow::wow::wow:

The posts are what count the most, but the new things that were introduced in DU2 have slowly but surely disappearing. :cry:

I just want it to be perfectly clear that I did not start this thread to gripe about DU. I assumed that Avatars had been disabled because they were stressing the software and my assumption was correct. They are working on it.

I love my Macs, but not nearly as much as the 'Canes.

Besides, this season I wouldn't mind some private chuckles while looking at Florida Gator avatars.
