Small town in the southwest corner of Ok, due east 25 miles from Lawton. I'm a transplant from Texas and I love it here.

I was a little concerned about moving here because I'd heard it was part of the bible belt and was strongly conservative. So far though, I haven't found one repug! Of course, I haven't gone looking for them either.

I'm sure there are many other places that are better, however, our state does have a lot to offer. The main thing I here from people that move to Oklahoma from other states, is the people in Oklahoma are very friendly. Below is a link to the Oklahoma tourism department site that shows the wide variety of natural features existing in our state....second,only to Texas in variety.

13. Yeah, IronFlange, that wasn't very nice. I was born here...

...and while I don't enjoy it here all the time because of all the FREEPERS...people are friendly, and most people I know will avoid religion and politics because they love each other more than they love their political party. And while I'm defending Oklahoma, we have two of the best Medical centers in the country. Integris Baptist Hospital and OU Medical Center. And there are a few really uneducated skanks around here, but those of us who are in higher education or who have higher education far outweigh them.
