Recommend foreign rock bands to me!
I'm currently listening to Håkan Hellström, but I'm down for any foreign rock. (I'm still trying to find some Leningrad)

3. The Pogues!
And a fifth of Black Bush. You will begin to twirl to "If I Should Fall From Grace With God." By the time you hit "Turkish Song Of The Damned," it should be all over!

4. I'm a regular viewer of PopJapan T.V
and while this group is more pop than rock, you should try out Zone for a listening. All their songs are in Japanese, but the melodies are very nice and catchy.

It's either Zone or ZONE or Z.O.N.E I can't remeber exactly.

5. I don't keep up with the whats'its - whos'its in the rock world
like I use to when I was in my youth. Leningrad I have 'heard of' but don't recall if I've ever heard them. I don't have a clue who or what Hakan Hellstrom is  These days I more or less depend on what I'm hearing my 21 y/o son listening to upstairs.

Last year he brought a cd down for his poor dear old Mom to listen to. Apparently this band has been quite popular in Italy for years but hell I'd never heard of them before. The cd title (their latest) is 'Comalies' by Lacuna Coil. I also have a hard time keeping up with all the ways rock music is labeled these days but LC is described as a 'dark goth metal' or something like that anyway but damn I love their music. Turn it up and blast it. See I guess I ain't too old yet, it ain't too loud ;-)

But I'll have to leave the 'keeping up' to you young'uns out there.
