AAACCKKK All of the sudden my email doesn't work |

Keep getting these messages:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.theriver.com', Server: 'mail.theriver.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
and
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.theriver.com', Server: 'mail.theriver.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
the mail accout is with my server company and I use OE Just sent and recieved some stuff a little while before now this. I tried disconecting and reconecting. Its a slow connection but it usually works. WTF?

so you could just use that to send and receive e-mail in the interim. https://www.theriver.com/webmailYou probably want to give them a call too... I saw a notice on their status page about updating DNS which might be affecting you. 1-877-887-4837

didn't think it would be them because I could still access good old DU! I rebooted and it seems ok now. just a wierd hiccup I guess. I will go check out the river site - haven't been over there in AGES! thanks again

then about 4 years ago (?) they got bought by a company in Washington state. Now I think they might have been bought again.
Small, probably not that great, but at the time it was one of only two available in my rural area besides aol, and even I knew I didn't want that. Plus I love my @theriver.com e-mail address.
