Florida Prosecutor Accused Of STREAKING
<snip>

KEY WEST, Fla. -- A drunk Monroe County prosecutor thought it would be funny to run naked across a parking lot and hop into a friend's car, authorities said. But the joke was on him when he jumped into the wrong car and was arrested.

Albert Tasker, who works for the Monroe County State Attorney's Office, told authorities he had been drinking with friends and thought it would be funny to shed his clothes and run to a friend's car in the parking lot of a Key West motel, according to a police report.

But Tasker apparently got in the back seat of a car occupied by a woman waiting for her boyfriend. The woman screamed and her boyfriend appeared. After the woman called 911, a Key West police officer found Tasker in the middle of the parking lot.

Tasker, 28, was arrested Monday morning and faces charges of disorderly intoxication and indecent exposure, both misdemeanors. Officials with the State Attorney's Office said a request has been sent to Gov. Jeb Bush's office to appoint a special prosecutor to handle the complaints to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.

Tasker has been placed on administrative leave without pay and his office is conducting an internal review of the incident.

"It's terribly embarrassing for both him and for us, and we'll wait to see how the facts unfold," said J. Jefferson Overby, the chief assistant state attorney for Monroe County.

Tasker did not have a listed phone number. He did not immediately return an e-mail on Tuesday.

3. did that once, in Florida too
out drinking with a bunch of co-workers and we decide to go skinny dipping in Jacksonville. Long story short, it was a dark and windy night . . . and our frigging clothes blew away. The driver's purse with car keys remained, so we had to drive back to the Embassy Suites and ask them to fetch some blankets.

And yes, I was working for the gummint at the time. Moral of the story is: if you must go streaking, go streaking with your boss.
