I feel like I have allergies |
|
Yesterday and today I've been sneezing. My nose is kinda stuffy and runny and my eyes are watery. I feel perfectly fine, not like I'm getting sick or anything and I don't have allergies, so.. :wtf:

1. You can develop a new allergy at any time |
|
I didn't have allergies until I reached my 20s. I didn't have asthma until I was in my 40s. It's triggered by tree pollen. My allergy/asthma season starts in late January, when the first pollen hits the air, and ends in late April. It's entirely possible that you have developed an allergy -- probably tree pollen since this is the season for it. Ask your doctor for suggestions on what to do to control it. Feel better!

2. Yeah that happened to a friend of my moms |

she moved from the city to the country and got allergies and asthma. I've lived in the same area for the past 6 years... I don't know. Hopefully it will go away. :7

Although, I don't care if it's nice on Saturday, because it's my birthday and my brother and his girlfriend are taking me to the zoo. :7

9. got the itchy eye thing going on? does the inside of your head |
|
feel like you would like to scratch it and scratch it and scratch it.
sounds like some kind of allergy to me
could be: leaf pollen grass pollen depending on where you life: azalea, forsythia, redbud or dogwood
cedar pollen, again depending on where you live.
I had horrendous fall allergies when I was growing up in Kentucky, starting with ragwood in early Sept, continuing all the way until the first good freeze. Miserable, so bad I could be fine in one room and go to a different room and have something in there set off my already grossly irritated sinuses .
Now I live in Texas and have "cedar fever" from mid Nov until mid January ugh.
seriously, see your doctor about one of those nasal puffers, like Flonase, or try the OTC one and see if it helps. Works wonders for me and reduces the need for systemic meds. There is also an excellent (though expensive if you don't have insurance) eye drop called Patenol (RX required)..if itchy irritated eyes are the only problem, you don't need to take any type of systemic drug, and your problem is soothed, and wonderfully.
Claritin OTC is good for the sneezing, drip etc. Sudafed is good for the deeply congested feeling.
Good luck
