I have to recommend my weekend to everyone on DU. |
|
It took a lot of planning, but I took the weekend off completely. I had a four day weekend & for the majority of that time, I slept, read, meditated, did yoga and eat healthy vegan food. No TV, no news and as little stress as possible. I feel so much better now. My energy is back, did I mention I went cold turkey on caffeine. I feel so de-stressed. Everyone should try it for a day or two at least, good for the soul.

2. It sounds like a perfectly lovely way to spend a weekend. |
|
I could not go cold turkey on the caffeine, though. :scared:

I think you are so correct. I try to live this as a lifestyle ( lol). Seriously, slowing down for a little while is the best recharge. Good for you!
