If there are any cricket fans out there (e.g. GregW)... |
|
just an fyi that Matthew Hayden (Australia) broke the world record for the most runs in a single innings today, scoring 380 vs Zimbabwe.
Beat previous record held by Brian Lara (I think) of 375.

Fair play to the guy. Indeed the previous highest total was Brian Lara against England :-( .
I love cricket.

And I know what an amazing achievement that is. For Americans, it's hard to make a comparison, but imagine a baseball player getting successive grand slam homers for every at-bat in a game, only with cricket, it can take hours, or even days. A lot of pressure, and a lot of great batting.
Kudos to Hayden.

Then we would give an athlete his due.
Otherwise, It's hard to look at an athlete dressed in "Knickers."
Uh, Dennis Rodman?
Forget that; I've said too much already....
