Atheists are not being persecuted on DU.
Veterans are not being persecuted on DU.
Moderates are not being persecuted on DU.
Southerners are not being persecuted on DU.
The followers of any particular Democratic politician are not being persecuted on DU.
(insert interest group here) are not being persecuted on DU.
What you are experiencing is the full scope of argument, debate, agreement and assholery that exists on a large message board. Your particular group is not alone in that.
