Unfortunate names!
Edited on Sat Feb-26-05 10:20 PM by MIScott87
From the world of politics to other worlds, what are some of the funniest names you've ever herd?

Oh, and be careful not to make this a sex thread! (I know, that probably sucks half the fun out of everything)

So...

Don't say the name of the Michigan Attorney General too fast; it's almost as bad as the Aiken County, SC, Sheriff.

Of course, we here in Michigan almost had a governor named... :D

I used to work with a guy named Mike Hunt. Oh what fun when he got a phone call and we paged him over the intercom... Nobody could do it without laughing.

8. I got my first job at the UK Passport Office
and there were just too many people born in the '50s with the name "John Thomas".

On a side note, the weirdest street name I came across in a passport application was "Scum Road" and in another application the funniest suburb was a place called "Swallow Wood". True story.

10. My Grandmother Had a Friend
name Ima Menke (rhymes with 'monkey').

There's a philosopher named Joseph Wood Kruth.

During WWII, Greece had a prime minister Plasteras, of whom Winston Churchill said "I hope he does not have feet of clay."

And a former Turkish ambassador to the Soviet Union was named 'Mustafa Kunt.'

If you like this kind of thing, get the book "Remarkabilia." Hundreds of em.
