Aaargh! Total procratinator panic setting in!
I have lost the TWO most important text books I have in school right now, and one has a paper due on it tomorrow! :scared:

I've looked everywhere I can think of. I mean, my apartment's only 3 rooms! I probably put them somewhere "safe" so they wouldn't get lost. (I do this to myself all the time. :eyes:)

Am desperately seeking suggestions. Where haven't I looked?

1. Try the place you're sure it isn't
That always works for me. Also, if you have a car, check under the front seats.

4. Under the car seats was the first place I checked.
I also once found one of my sneakers in the fridge (back in HS), so I chaecked there, too. No go. If checking the place I'm sure it in't, that would be either my boyfriend's apartment (one hour south) or my office (one hour north)! :-(

Satan and Saint Anthony, together at last.

(Sorry, this post isn't intended to offend. I'm in seminary, we make dark jokes like that about religion all the time.)

In reality, it's a good suggestion for a seminarian. Thanks! :hi:

3. Try an internet library.
I'm told they exist, but the ones I've seen aren't very complete. Still, you might get lucky. Maybe someone else has a link to a good one?

As a fellow procrastinator, I can at least tell you that last-moment panic is one of the most creative and productive mindsets, and can produce some amazing results. Good luck!

6. That's a great suggestion!
The Denver Public Library has a great internet library, and I have found another textbook listed there. Thanks! :hi:

7. Books found in laundry basket.
That'll teach me to procrastinate about doing laundry! LOL!

Thanks everyone!
