Who would you choose as your Dream Democratic Candidate if there were no term limits, and if you choose them they will run? (if not Other, please share)

1. Voted for Kucinich

Because his views are most similar to mine, except for his flag burning thing. I consider that more important than being say for the death penalty in certain cases like Dean is, but health care is my #1 concern and Kucinich is very ambitious there.

I'll vote for whomever our nominee is, and think Dean/Clark would be the best team.

2. If we're not necessarily talking land of possibility

My dream candidate would be me. Not that I am a politician, but I am never going to find anyone else with whom I agree 100% of the time! ;-)

Of the current candidates- Dean is great, but he is pro-death penalty in certain cases. Kucinich voted for the flag burning amendment and has been pro-life. Kerry and Edwards voted for the Iraq invasion. Etc.

Of those not running- Ann Richards is pro-death penalty. Bernie Sanders voted to allow the NE waste be sent to west Texas.

Hmmm. Maybe Jim Hightower. Sitting here, I can't actually think of any issue on which I disagree with him.

And that is if we are limiting this to US politicos. Otherwise, I'd probably say Peter Garrett.
