3. Well, I don't know what you feed your cat, but |
|
some of the stuff my cat eats looks rather tasty, little bits in gravy and such. He seems to enjoy it was well.

10. My kitty loves her cat food! |
|
She won't eat bits of meat that I cook or cheese. She will just sniff it and leave it alone. But if I open a can of fancy feast, she goes to town!

11. I don't feed my cat shit. |

Wouldn't that be tantamount to animal abuse (that the Right always screams that we are more concerned about, than humans?)?

I have two cats, a stray which adopted me and one of the kittens she had before I got her fixed. The momma loves cat food (dry Purina), but she also hunts daily. She'll also eat chicken, bones and all. Her daughter eats dry food as well, plus whatever she can beg from the table. But the younger one won't hunt, or eat dead critters which get left on the porch.

Neither one will eat shit. Won't even give it a second glance. Am I doing something wrong?

15. Cats do seem to be peculiar in their eating habits |
|
But they eat different things than we do. I certainly wouldn't cach a spider or a cricket and eat it.
Dogs, on the other hand, will eat ANYTHING. Barf, cat shit out of the litter box, garbage, stuff off the ground - you name it!
Incidentally, I once tried dry cat food when I was six years old. I vaguely remember it tasting really nasty, like a really bad bran cereal. Also tried a dog biscuit once. It's like biting into a jawbreaker. They must have vise-grip teeth.

I study their nutrition in depth and frequently prepare items especially to suit them and their needs.

19. I Feed The Best Quality Food I Can Find |
|
I give them corn-free food; they don't digest any better than humans do. Some cat food is disgusting and I won't buy it.
