Anyone watching Larry King Live? (I know, I know)
He's interviewing Larry Hatteberg, the Wichita reporter to whom the BTK suspect mailed packages. I love Mr. Hatteberg. He did a series of reports on interesting Kansans and interviewed my father, the "Birthday Man of El Dorado," who remembered 7,000 birthdays. My father died in 1983. I didn't have the interview on tape and e-mailed Mr. Hatteberg a couple of years ago asking if the tape would possibly be in the KAKE archives. He took the time to find it, dub it and mail it to me free of charge. Now I have my father on videotape, and I have Mr. Hatteberg to thank.

2. Don't mean to threadjack but there was a domestic
murder this past Friday in St Louis....it happened in West County (known for its wealth). This guy shot his estranged wife and the friend she and her children were staying with. He then took off and a high speed chase ensued. He eventually crashed his SUV and was thrown from it. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The paper had an article about him and said that he lived on a trust fund and had never worked a job. He was cited as being arrogant and controlling. Since he lived in West County, where he had two houses, I assumed he was a pug. I checked newsmeat using his name but could not find anything even though the paper said he was politically active.

3. As soon as I heard it, I said, "I KNEW IT!" Just as we suspected!
