The official NOT February 29th thread
My watch says that it is the 29th but it is wrong.

It is moments like this when one sits back and reflects on the fragility of life and what one might have done with an extra day of life had they had it which you don't.

So what would you do or are going to do with this day that you don't have?

Birthdays on February 29th (NOT today)

Ja Rule
Antonio Sabato Jr.
Dinah Shore
Jimmy Dorsey

NOT this day in history-February 29th actually

45 BC-Julius Ceasar adds an extra day to the calendar every fourth year.

1944 - The first woman appointed secretary of a national political party was named to the Democratic National Committee. Dorothy McElroy Vredenburgh of Alabama began her new appointment this day.

1960 - A report from the White House stated that America’s kids were getting too fat! I’ll have a cheeseburger, fries and a shake.

1960 - The first Playboy Club opened on this day at 116 E. Walton, Chicago, IL

1980 - Gordie Howe of the Detroit Red Wings became the first player in NHL history to score 800 career goals (in a 3-0 Wings’ win over the St. Louis Blues). Howe finished his career with 801 regular-season goals. Only Wayne Gretzky has surpassed that mark.

1. Leap Day is in the wrong month
Who the hell wants February to be longer?
Put it where we could use it.
Between July 4th and 5th or after Labor Day.

2. I have a cousin who was born on
leap day. We figure he's only 6 only, but he is married and has a stable job.

3. I always wondered about that
I think that law stipulates that they are to be considered the number of years they have been alive not the number of Feb.29th they have seen.

How old are you?

4. He just turned
27-if you count how many times he has seen the earth travel around the sun. Sometimes he will be a smart ass and answer something like 5, just for the looks.
