What makes "MATitaniCOM" such an awful film?

Was it the disgustingly leprotic eels? The formulaic, totally boring now, use of sinister midgets? The asymmetry of the camera angles pretending to be artistic, but ending up being only motion-sickness causing parkinson's like shakery? Was it the attempt at an existentiaslist exploration of the human soul's lust for the transitory and ephemeral that succeeded only in being an excremental look at the human soul's need for pornography and one-night stands? Was the constant use of bear entrails as a leitmotif for the character of the captain, which was, quite in appropriately, played by a moldy fig?
