Ever know someone named Hitler? |
|
Seriously, is the name banned or something? Was it a very rare name? Are there no surviving relatives?

http://www.411.com/search/Find_Person?firstname_begins_with=1&firstname=&name=hitler&city_zip=&state_id=If I were named Hitler, I'd probably change it, but I can see not changing one's family name, because of tradition/honouring your ancestors, etc.

why ANYONE would keep that name?
My last name is pretty common but if I had a last name like "Hitler", "Stalin" or "BUSH" you bet your bippy I'd change it.

What about the Schickelgrubers (sp?) or whatever Hitler's mom's maiden name was? (I think it was his mom's name) I wonder if there are any of them still using the name.

3. From what I read....Hitler was NOT his REAL name.....It means the Hittite |
|
teacher. The Germans at the time were very interested in the Hittite Culture and its past.

6. My brother's boss isn't named Hitler, but |
|
he's a dead ringer - down to the moustache. He's a freeper-type, too. If you looked like Hitler, wouldn't you do what you could to downplay the resemblance? I find it creepy.

I wouldn't believe it was her name if I hadn't met her. Totally bizarre.
