Gooooood Morning DU!
Edited on Thu Mar-03-05 07:00 AM by BlondieK143
How is everyone this morning? I'm okay, just tired as hell and running a little late this morning. :) My body is here, but my mind isn't. SO, have some :donut: and amuse me with your morning stories!

Have a great day!

7. I stayed up all night
Took Tyler to the hospital last night. He has a bad sinus infection and a touch of bronchitis. I ended up staying awake all night making sure he's ok though the drugs they gave him helped him sleep. His mom is coming by in an hour to grab him and take him back to their house so I can get some sleep and work done. Then I'll pick him back up around 7pm.

I'm trying to decide what present to get him...to cheer him up :)

29. G'day, Blondie!
:hi: Computer hiccups fixed. I can post again.

Can't hide anymore The useless project has come back, we couldn't keep it dead at the concept stage. In short, marketing convinced some VP that we can sell this as a service and make money. It now falls in my lap...and the lab's.

Now I get to do what I'm good at--breaking things.

BTW, I had my breakfast early. My diet experiment continues.

36. Going well so far
I'm blogging the events in the Fitness forum.

Work isn't bad. It's the fact that some idiot, overlooking logic and ALL of the past business plans, is going to waste time and resources on this new circuit card won't make the company any money.

But, it COULD make money. Monkeys COULD fly out of my butt, too. :eyes:

Now, I'll get my hands on it in about a month.

Having the cell phones and pagers going off all of the time? Spending days in meetings and presentations? No, thanks, that cuts into my training and beer drinking time.

Maybe I'll just be a Research Dir. or VP--yeah, that's the ticket.

But that doesn't change the fact that...

there's no doughnut for you! :P

61. That's so weird!
I just wrote that exact last line in a PM. With work, I don't lead too much of a life these days. (not that I'm complaining). And laundry is on my schedule too. :P I bet you have a washer and dryer at your house though, right? LUCKY!

63. Actually, I live in an apt. style
condo, so we have a laundry room. It's actually very nice, and clean. How about you? I used to have to go to the laundrymat - ARGHHH!! You have to lug all your stuff there and then sit and wait for it all to get done! x(

66. No kidding!
That's what I have to do since we don't have one in the apartment. It sucks. I can plan on it taking an hour and a half for about 3 loads to finish. Not fun at all. Most of the time I sit in my car and listen to music or read.

I go really late at night so I miss the crowd too. :) This weekend? I'm working both jobs but I have Saturday night off. I'll probably stay home and have a beer and watch a movie. How about you?

I'm gonna try and get out this weekend to see Million Dollar Baby. I have some work to do at the Union office, so I'm gonna spend a few hours their prolly Sunday afternoon. I think I asked you this before, but have you seen Million Dollar Baby yet? I know it's hard to get to the show when you're working two jobs x(
