One thing I wish I knew how to find out is the eventual fate of my 2Xgreat grandparents in Trondheim after my great grandmother came to the US. My relatives say that the three sisters that came over never talked much about the "old country." The youngest sister came over in 1919 and listed her father as the closest living relative address Kalvskindets Sykhus. I assume that is/was the equivalent of a nursing home, as he would have been 74 at the time.

Ancestors originally from Vik i Sogn, Telemark, Voss and my paternal side home area is Vik on the Sognefjord. Stunning scenery but don't know how to get there from Oslo.
