A Swiveling, Tilting, Heated FOOTREST with a nite-light? |
|
. . .
Where would one find such a thing??
OH,
Probably in your basement or garage!
An old Video Monitor!
They take less power than a 100 watt bulb when on,
and when off they still swivel and tilt (cover them with your favorite carpet, cloth)
and if you turn the brightness way up on the older ones, the screen glows!
A breaker bar beside ur puter with an on and off switch,
And ya got comfy feet all nite long!
(and the nite-lite thing reminds ya to turn it off (if ur in "heat" mode)when ya leave the room!)
Whish I'd discovered this YEARS ago!!

1. OMG! That's one of the greatest ideas I've ever heard!! |
|
You should submit that to one of those "best inventions of the year" contests.
That's absolutely brilliant!

2. You'll do ANYTHING to keep warm in Canada, |
|
won't you?
(I understand, having grown up in Vermont.)

3. Friggen right - I want every BTU I can get! |
|
. . .
But the monitor thing was a "what do I do now?" thing when the 150 watt halogen work lamp went that I had been using as a foot-warmer for 5 years.
Monitor never gets hot enuf to burn me (unlike the halogen) and I can put my feet on it, and like I said, swivel and tilt to my max comfort position!
and that neet little glow under my 'puter desk -
Atmosphere as well!
