Help! I "forgot 9/11"! What happened???
:eyes: Has there ever been a lamer line then "Um, have you forgotten 9/11?"

It seems like this is the common answer amongst the moran crowd for any occasion. Additionally, it seems now that only Republicans died that day from the tone of things.

You know, I was awake for three days following 9/11, I don't think I slept more than an hour at a time. At least our President was sound asleep at 11pm that very night.

Yeah, morans, I "forgot 9/11". Idiots.

4. Don't confuse them with facts.
As long as they can make up a cliched bumpersticker and appropriate a tragedy as their own they are happy.

5. I didn't forget 9/11, but I'm acting like it never happened.
After all, that's what it means to be a liberal.

6. My resposne is: No I haven't and I would really like to know who did
it, why the government did everything it could to stop any investigation, and why the WTC buildings were shipped out of the country so fast.

Still waiting for those answers too.

18. Ah but it wasn't the FBI that was supposed to follow up…
Edited on Sat Mar-05-05 09:45 PM by mcscajun
…FBI cover-up, more likely. I never heard a thing about an FBI investigation, but The Chicago Board Options Exchange was definitely supposed to be investigating the trades.

from Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/putcall.htm
The Chicago Board Options Exchange is investigating each of these trades and at this time is declining to offer comment on its progress. The volume traded and the one-sidedness of the trades, however, have raised suspicions that those who had knowledge of the details of the attacks (e.g., which airlines would be involved and that the World Trade Center was a target) could have been behind them and profited mightily.

10. What about 9/11?
I see all these faded bumper stickers that say "9/11: We'll Never Forget", but I forgot about it.

17. All I can say is........

19. The GOP forgot 9/11, as soon as Bush said "Let's go get Saddam!"
The War On Terror has been sidetracked by the War In Iraq.
