Have you ever met someone who seriously thought Harry Potter was evil? |
|
No. I can thankfully say I've never met anyone in real life who actually thought the books were satanic or any nonsense like that. Although I've seen some rather ridiculous letters to the editor on it though...

Most of the ministers I know really like the books and the movies, and many have the full set of both. Some of those ministers even share their Harry Potter stuff with their children.

my sister's boyfriend. My sister loves Harry Potter books, and when she mentioned them one time, he said something about them being about posession by demons and unholy blah blah blah. He's a nice and rational guy in every other respect, but that one thing
he was homeschooled by fundie parents, so i can understand where he got it

The neighbor who used to provide day care for our daughter is a fundie who won't allow her own daughter to participate in Halloween, and read Bible passages to them over breakfast. We got her out of there ASAP.
