My alarm clock is getting hard to set. I think it was manufactured in '77 |
|
But the label is faded, so it's hard to know for sure. Do the buttons just wear out? Do you think it's time to spring for a new one?

1. Not if it's a lucky alarm clock. |
|
You can't get rid of a lucky alarm clock.
But if it's over 25 years old, perhaps a new one is in order.

2. I don't know if it's lucky or not |
|
I think it's the only one I've ever had. If the date is correct, I've had it since grade 4.
I don't use it much lately, I have a pretty finely tuned internal clock. I'm sleep deprived at the moment, so I don't want to depend upon it.

3. Might as well get a new one... |
|
but I've gotten "new" ones over the years, and my Sony clock radio bought around 1974 still does a better job of waking me up.

4. Is it one of those clocks... |
|
where the numbers flip over as opposed to a digital one? Cause I love the old fashioned ones, they don't make them like that anymore

Knife. Through. My. Brain.
So much for a refreshing slumber. If the shower is not uber hot this morning - I will cry.
No, it is not one of those flippy clocks. My parents had one like that.
