2. Hmm, you know I hadn't really thought of onions as a vegetable.
More like a garnish. But if they count, they're definitely in my favorites.

I also love Brussels sprouts and peas.

3. Onions make me barf.
That being said, I'm quite the fan of the humble potato. Broccoli is good too...and carrots, but the carrots have to be raw. Green peppers are good (raw)...hmm tomatoes, cucumbers, all the good ones! :D

35. Mmmmmm... I've taken to steaming them and then
dumping a ton of margerine on them with spices and then popping them in the oven for a few minutes and kinda scorching them.

Mmmmmmm x 10.

What's a good spaghetti squash recipe? I like the consistency, but I can never figure out anything good to do with it.

12. All but Brussels Sprouts and Beets
I like almost all veggies. I especially like dark leafy greens: Spinach and kale and chard and rabe and the like. I like broccoli and asparagus and zucchini and peas and green beans. Corn, carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, potatoes. I don't care for rutabagas and turnips though. Overall I'm a pretty easy woman to feed! :9

17. I love all except for okra though favorite would be artichoke
There's no way I don't like then - steamed, roasted, fried, marinated, in risotto, in frittata, mmmmmmm.

Don't start on me about okra, either - my Southern Dad has tried and failed. Once you've had a slimy piece it turns you off forever. Well, at least it did me.

20. Fried okra isn't slimy. It's... well, it's fried.
The sliminess is gone. It's not so much a vegetable once it's fried as it is a little pebble of heaven. O8)

And it's pretty damn good. I think I'm more likely to try the pickled kind than deep fried.

more than any of the others. Have you ever tried them chopped and carmelized as a side to eggs?

I still love broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, squash, corn on the cob, asparagus, fresh green beans..

edited to make correction.

They're best fresh but I love frozen and even canned. I wish they were lower in calories so I could eat them three times a day.
