Last week a dog came into my house. This week a cat.

Another neigbor's cat came and visited my house. The thing is, I was talking to the neighbors and my door was open. Cat walked inside until the neighbors saw him and called him back out. Friendly animals are cool.

1. I think you're pretty cool for playing host for the more sociable

pets in the neighborhood. Pretty soon, though, word will get out that the party is at your house, and you'll be up to your ears in dogs, cats and ferrets. Probably should lay in some snacks.

4. I know how you feel

We often get visited by neighborhood cats, even though we don't feed them.

We have also started getting visited by all manner of other animals - squirrels, oppossum, skunks & raccoons. I had to stop leaving my screen door open on summer evenings cos I found a baby racc trying to slide the door open.

I shudder to think of the mayhem that would have ensued. . .
