Freaky Global Weather Sets Off Alarm Bells.......
....it's interesting how our enviournment is behaving as of late...Mars will be closer to the Earth next month than it's been in 60,000 years....the sun has been blowing X class and M class flares at us in epic perportions too...makes one wonder just what Mother Nature and the Cosmos has in store for us....I firmly believe all these events are related....it's fascinating indeed! :)

Freaky Global Weather Sets Off Alarm Bells

July 03 2003

By Michael McCarthy

London - The world's weather is going haywire in 2003.

This is what the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) signalled on Wednesday night in an astonishing announcement about global warming and extreme weather events occurring right at this moment all around the globe.

In a short but dramatic press release, the WMO, which normally produces detailed scientific reports and staid statistics at the year's end, highlighted record extremes in weather and climate occurring all over the world in the past few weeks, from the hottest-ever June in Switzerland, to the record month for tornadoes in the United States - and linked them to climate change.

3. I've only gotten to see second hand pix at spaceweather.com....
...don't have access to a telescope...heh eventhough my father-in-common law;-) has one...he won't let anyone touch it....eventhough he rrefuses to set it up *sigh*......but this pic of the Moon blows me away.....

MOON MIRAGE: "First it looked like a big boat, then a huge hamburger, then a nuclear explosion," recalls Norwegian photographer Arne V. Hoem. In fact, it was just the Moon, which Hoem saw rising over the waters of the North Sea on July 13th. "The shape of the moon was changing continuously," says Hoem. Using a digital camera, he captured this snapshot of the evolving scene.

What's going on? Moonlight passing through a layer of warm air just above the sea surface is what causes this eye-catching inferior mirage, which Jules Verne famously likened to an Etrusian Vase. It's often seen by observers watching the sun rise or set. Such photos of the Moon, however, are rare.

4. I guess HAARP isn't working (USAF to "own the weather" by 2025)
Weather control will be a military advantage, donthca' know, so of course the enviro-friendly (ha!) military has been working on it.

As discussed right here on ol' DU once upon a time

Google HAARP or even "own the weather" and you'll find lots more.

Of course, we must mention the tinfoilish possibility of Planet X (aka "Nibiru") approaching the earth and causing all those solar flares and whatnot. Who knows, it could be out there.
